Yesterday, I went shopping for a good pair of shoes. I havenapos;t bought anything but flip-flops in years because I canapos;t find anything that fits me well; I have big feet (11-12) and big ankles, so I rarely find something that looks okay. I pick up a pair of shoes that are really cute and simple: brown, flat sole, with elastic straps on the top. Adorable So I check the tag only to see a retail price of $215. I went completely stupid and just stared for a moment. Then, I waved someone down and asked if the pricing was correct. She nodded and asked me if that was out of my price range.
Uh. Yes Maybe by a little, you know? I think I said something along the lines of, "Yeah, by quite a lot" and started putting them back up. I didnapos;t wait for her to leave before telling Dark we were leaving... I mean, come on, they werenapos;t gold-plated, they had no decoration whatsoever... I said we could get the same thing at Wal-Mart for a fraction of the price and he laughed at me the whole way out.

Secondly, Iapos;m going to find the jerk that kept killing me on WoW today and ... I donapos;t know, do something bad to him. Grrr Why is it so important for level 70s to pick on a lvl 22? What good comes out of that? What pleasure could you possibly derive from doing that?
